Bossier Parish School for Technology and Innovative Learning (BPSTIL) is the technical high school in Bossier Parish. High school students from Airline, Benton, Bossier, Haughton, Parkway and Plain Dealing High Schools attend BPSTIL for specialized technical programs. Many of our programs offer industry-based certifications and/or dual enrollment with area colleges that give students a jump start to college and career opportunities. Our students have a special interest in the programs they choose to take at BPSTIL. In many cases, students are bound for universities, technical programs, military, and the workforce in a related field. You can take a virtual tour of the school by clicking HERE. You can also learn more about our school and programs on our home page, BPSTIL Homepage.
We have moved to a two day event to accommodate all of our participants. Programs participating each day are listed below. The event is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, March 25th & 26th, and will be held on the campus of BPSTIL located at 1020 Innovation Drive in Bossier City. We will host two sessions each day so that all of our students will have an opportunity to participate. The first session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The second session will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. You will have the opportunity to set up your table the day before the event (business day) from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
We are inviting you to participate by hosting a browse table in our auditorium. There is no charge to participate in the event. The fair will allow students to learn more about your post-secondary programs or employment opportunities, while providing you an opportunity to connect with future prospects for your business or post-secondary program. You will find attached a Courses Card which lists all of the programs offered at BPSTIL, along with a list of industry based credentials that students have the opportunity to earn.
I am excited about what the future holds for these young people and the possibility of connecting them to their future. Please feel free to call (new number) or email with any questions you may have.
