Independence Bowl to Host Inaugural High School Football Media Day on August 6

SHREVEPORT, La. – The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl is set to host their Inaugural High School Football Media Day, presented by Jimmy Granger Ford, on Wednesday, August 6 at Independence Stadium.

“We think this is a tremendous opportunity to promote and support the incredible high school football programs and student-athletes we have all throughout Northwest Louisiana,” said Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Director of Communications Erik Evenson. “We hope this event will uncover some of the great stories about those athletes and assist our local media, who work so tirelessly to tell these stories, in their coverage of these programs and athletes.”

The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl High School Football Media Day, presented by Jimmy Granger Ford, will promote up to 35 high school football teams from Caddo, Bossier, Bienville, Claiborne, DeSoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster Parishes. The high schools in those Parishes will be invited to participate and bring the head coach and select student-athletes to the event.

All attendees must apply for credentials before the credential application closes. No walk-up credentials will be provided on the day of the event. Applicants will receive an email indicating their acceptance or denial after submitting the application. Applications will be thoroughly reviewed and limited strictly to legitimate media representatives.
