Expand Energy Marks First Anniversary With Community Service in Louisiana
MANSFIELD, La. — Expand Energy, which operates natural gas production across northwest Louisiana, marked its one-year anniversary by organizing volunteer projects in DeSoto and Red River parishes.
Company employees assisted with preparations for the Red River Parish Fair and Rodeo and supported food donations at the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana, according to the company.
“The Haynesville Shale and the people of northwest Louisiana are central to Expand Energy’s story,” said Michelle Cavanaugh, Expand Energy’s community affairs manager. “In celebrating our first year, we wanted to recognize the communities who support our growth and the domestic energy we produce.”
Expand Energy, listed on NASDAQ under the ticker EXE, is headquartered in the United States and is the largest natural gas producer in North America. The company established operations in Louisiana last year and maintains an office in Mansfield.
