Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC), parent company of Brookshire’s and Super 1 Foods, recently celebrated the grand re-openings of three newly remodeled stores in northwest Louisiana: 5828 Line Ave., Shreveport; 9250 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport; and 1870 Airline Dr., Bossier City.

BGC leaders, city representatives and community members gathered for ribbon-cutting ceremonies at each location to commemorate the renovations and celebrate BGC’s continued investment in the communities it serves. The company’s iconic 13-foot-tall motorized “Big Grocery Cart” added to the excitement of the day at each event.

These newly remodeled stores feature refreshed shopping environments and full-service supermarkets focused on excellent customer service, high-quality fresh meats and produce and remarkable values for our customers.

As part of the celebration and as a testament to the company’s dedication to giving back, BGC presented $1,000 donations to the Shreveport and Bossier City Police and Fire Departments. Additionally, BGC donated $1,000 donations to Friends of Friends, a family resource center dedicated to uplifting communities and providing support to those in need, and the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier’s Red Apron Pantry.
