Description
At CDI Louisiana, we provide all three sessions of training in one year for a small cohort of 30 engaged citizens.
The dates are: Feb 23-26 (Year 1); June 7-10 (Year 2); September 27-Oct. 1 (Year 3)
Classes run from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day we are in session.
The institute builds the capacity of individuals and communities to positively impact economic and social development. This is achieved by expanding individual’s ability to identify community assets, set goals, encourage collaboration and partnerships with stakeholders, and bringing together groups of people to respond to a broad range of economic and quality of life issues.

We will host the Community Development Institute during three different weeks or sessions in 2027. You are required to attend all three weeks to be eligible to be chosen for a spot within the program for 2027.
