This position is for a Software Developer at the Cyber Innovation Center in Bossier City, LA and is responsible for a wide range of tasks including, but not limited to, creating mockups, UI components, algorithms, and data structures to enable the delivery of minimally viable products for software solutions. Work across the entire system architecture, from backend data systems to front end development, to design, develop, and support high quality and scalable products. Requires the capability to translate concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Work with relational and NoSQL databases, Linux and Windows operating systems, and modern UI frameworks. Create products that provide a quality user experience along with high performance, security, and stability. Work in an agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code, application testing, and support innovative applications for our customers.


Required Attributes: 

  • Existing or eligible for SCI-DCID 6/4 Top Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required 
  • Proficient in database development using SQL Server, MySQL, or Postgres 
  • Advanced knowledge of a JavaScript Library 
  • Fluent with HTML, CSS, and JSON 
    • Strong Working Knowledge with these languages: C# or Java 
    • Experience with Git version control systems Python, or R 
    • SQL 
    • Powershell or Bash 
    • Experience in developing responsive design websites 
    • Knowledge of the software development life cycle 
    • Ability to communicate with Team Members, Product Owners, and Stakeholders 
    • Ability to work across architecture - building both front end and backend applications 
    • Familiarity with Software Testing Automation Technologies 
    • Familiarity with Data Engineering Concepts: Data Lakes, Lakehouse, Data Warehouses 
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum concepts and experience working in an Agile environment 
    • Awareness of Job Automation Technologies, Examples: Cron Jobs, Windows Task Scheduler, Tidal, Apache Airflow, Azure, or AWS. 


Desired Attributes: 

  • Familiarity with a cloud platform AWS or Azure Cloud 
  • Experience with DevOps 
  • Experience with Docker Containers 
  • Experience with GoLang 


Required Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other relevant degree. 


Work Requirements: 

  • Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon-Fri (typical). Due to the nature of the business and depending on specific event schedules, the employee will be required to vary typical work hours. 
  • Occasional weekend work could be required. 
  • Occasional travel may be required.
