Production Leader
Location: Shreveport, LA
Salary: $100,000

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Production Leader to oversee daily plant operations, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and consistency on the production line, including service shops. This role involves leading front-line manufacturing teams, planning departmental operations, and executing strategies to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage hourly manufacturing employees across multiple shifts

• Hire, train, and develop talent while providing ongoing feedback and performance evaluations

• Coordinate production operations across all shifts via supervisors and team leads

• Drive improvements in cycle time, production efficiency, and cost reduction strategies

• Apply technical expertise and analytical thinking to solve complex manufacturing challenges

• Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues and mentor team members

• Ensure production meets quality, volume, and timeliness standards

• Assist with resource allocation, operator training, and production issue resolution

• Lead small projects and implement best practices for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 3–5 years of production supervision experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Strong leadership and team development skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Knowledge of production processes, operational metrics, and cost control
