Compensation: $75,000 – $80,000 (Target Bonus: 15%)
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, though weekend work may occasionally be required. Typical hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with flexibility based on business needs.

Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the main point of contact for a designated group of departments and team members. This role supports the Vice President of Human Resources and the Assistant Director of Human Resources in developing, planning, and executing strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of exempt-level HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in directing the daily operations and staff of the HR department.
- Develop, implement, and manage departmental goals while monitoring performance and achievement of operational objectives.
- Create efficient and effective work schedules that balance labor costs, staffing needs, and team satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain productive, professional relationships with assigned departments to achieve business-focused results.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to designated departments, maintaining a strong understanding of each unit’s structure and needs while providing HR guidance and support across all levels.
- Identify and implement strategies related to turnover, retention, employee engagement, staff development, compensation, performance management, and wellness initiatives.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local workforce organizations, colleges, and community programs to enhance recruiting efforts.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on budget processes, P&L reviews, and departmental purchasing approvals.
- Assist with budget preparation and compliance while providing recommendations and reporting any concerns to leadership.
- Partner with senior HR leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Analyze organizational trends and HR metrics related to engagement, turnover, and staff development, developing proactive solutions and policies as needed.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting objective investigations regarding grievances, harassment, or EEOC matters.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of employment laws and ensure compliance in all HR practices.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance management, corrective actions, and career development.
- Develop and maintain HR reports and analytics, including the HR Scorecard, Strategic Plan updates, and other identified metrics.
- Facilitate and evaluate training and development programs, ensuring effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Actively promote and demonstrate exceptional customer service and professionalism consistent with company standards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations within the department and report potential issues to management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all HR and company-related matters.
Qualification Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Human Resources Management or related field from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent in English.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); experience with iCIMS and UltiPro is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts and manage sensitive employee relations issues tactfully.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and to effectively present information to managers and staff.
- Demonstrated competence in leadership, customer service, business reasoning, and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
