Location: Bossier City, LA
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + Benefits 

Position Overview:
The Comptroller provides leadership and oversight of the property’s financial operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, collections, inventory control, and audit activities. This role ensures that all accounting records are maintained accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of assigned financial departments through managers and supervisors.

  • Oversee preparation and interpretation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, daily financial reports, and other operational data.

  • Ensure accurate and timely audits of revenues generated by Slot, Cage, F&B, Racing, and other property outlets.

  • Review month-end journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

  • Develop and implement financial procedures and controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Coordinate with operations management to meet reporting, system, and operational requirements efficiently.

  • Plan and implement process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and profitability.

  • Administer merit programs and conduct performance reviews for assigned employees.

  • Recommend and implement training programs for financial staff; ensure effective execution.

  • Monitor financial performance of assigned departments, taking corrective action as needed.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, and internal audit requirements.

  • Serve as liaison with Internal Audit, External Audit, and regulatory agencies.

  • Ensure that all departments are staffed with experienced personnel, have clear lines of authority, and have well-defined development plans.

  • Uphold professional conduct and act as a positive representative of the property; may serve as Managerial Representative on-premises when required.

  • May perform fund exchanges or other emergency financial operations as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial management within the gaming or casino industry.

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

  • Leadership experience managing multiple financial functions and staff.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, and industry-specific financial practices.

  • Ability to plan, implement, and monitor processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
